While the next Love of Life Festival is still months away, the excitement is already building behind the scenes.
The Kathryn Leigh Thurgaland Foundation Board of Directors and volunteers have been hard at work planning the 2027 Love of Life Festival, which will return to Grand Oaks Resort on Saturday, March 6, 2027.
Each year, our goal is simple: create a day where our community can come together to celebrate life through music, art, and connection while helping support grieving families and memorial scholarships. Although there’s still plenty to do, we’re excited about the progress that’s already been made.
Planning Is Underway
Festival planning began almost immediately after this year’s event. The board has been reviewing attendee feedback, evaluating what worked well, and identifying opportunities to make the 2027 festival even better. We’re also beginning conversations with returning sponsors, vendors, and volunteers whose support makes this event possible year after year.
Music Is Taking Shape
One of the most exciting parts of planning the festival is building an incredible lineup of live music. We’re currently reaching out to both returning favorites and new artists as we create another full day of performances. We look forward to announcing the lineup in the coming months, and we think you’ll be excited about what’s in store.
Looking Ahead
In addition to live music, we’re planning another wonderful selection of local artists, vendors, food trucks, family activities, raffles, and opportunities to learn more about the organizations serving grieving families throughout our community.

Every decision we make is guided by one question: How can we create a day that honors loved ones, brings people together, and supports the mission of the KLT Foundation?
