The 2023 Love of Life Festival is looking for your support.

 

The Kathryn Leigh Thurgaland Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established in 2021, hosts the Love of Life Festival, as our biggest fundraiser. Not only would your company be supporting a non-profit organization with a great cause, but you'd also be marketing your business through our promotions. Last year we won the Champions for Charity contest, winning over $10,000 worth of marketing. This year we will market the festival through television ads.

The programs the KLT Foundation offer are; 1) awarding scholarships to graduates leading inspired lives and 2) offering grief support for families who have lost a child, by delivering supplies, meals, and other resources. As of today, the foundation has granted scholarships to 3 students, with each awardee having the opportunity to receive up to $13,000 each. We’ve also been able to help a total of 6 grieving families.

 

Our biggest fundraiser is a music and arts festival called the Love of Life Festival,  where we celebrate life through music and art, while raising money to help support the programs offered by the foundation. The event is scheduled in May, the month Kathryn was born.

On May 6, 2023 we are hosting our 2nd annual KLT LOL Festival. At this event there will be various art vendors, food trucks, a beer tent, a silent auction, and raffles, a kid's zone with bounce houses and face painting, and a large variety of LIVE music on our two big stages. 

It's located behind 3400 NW 95th Ave Rd Ocala, FL 34482 on 20+ acres of beautiful property donated for our use by Dr Steven Pyles of Ocala.

We started the foundation as a means of honoring Kathryn and how she lived and was giving to others. 

We started the foundation to help lift people's spirits.

 

The intentions of the KLT foundation are not only to support, and sponsor, but to live in a free spirited way that reminds us of Kayleigh; through music, art, and dance. 

 

We have a presence across many social platforms with hundreds of followers and email subscribers
