Schedule for February, 15, 2025
•12:30 PM ~ Ryan Thurgaland Professional tenor, alto, and soprano saxophonist living in Central Florida. Currently wrapping up his junior year at Belmont University in Nashville, majoring in music performance, where he is a member of the Belmont Jazz Band, and performs with the Miles Connor Band, and Absolute Silence. He’s been playing on stage with professional musicians since the age of 13, starting with the local Open Mic scene, then the opening act for a traveling comedy show, and got recruited to join the local reggae band, Propaganjah. He played with them for about a year, then started accompanying with other bands, and finally performing solo. His solo sets include music in the genres of Jazz, R&B, Pop, Hip-Hop, Classic Rock, and more.
•1:15 PM ~ Buffalo Stamper Elite Cheerladers The 2025 Stampeders Elite Cheer team is compromised of girls ages 8-14 years old from The Villages area and are supported by our local Villages Youth Sports Club and The Villages Charter School. This program aims to teach girls the core values of the charter school and train them to be ‘Elite’ people and athletes.
•1:45 PM ~ Double Times Double Times is a dynamic duo that plays a variety of dance music from yesterday's favorites to today's hits including Rock & Roll, Rhythm & Blues, Pop, Latin, and Country. The duo is Tim Hargis (lead vocals, guitar, sax) and Harold Becton (bass guitar, vocals). Both come from a professional muic background. Both are energetic and well seasoned musicians and have worked with some top national and international artists. The duo's mantra is "WE COME TO ENTERATIN"...and they do!!!
•3:00 PM ~ Celtic Conundrum Celtic Conundrum are known for creating original music and putting new twists on traditional music. Audiences love the exceptional vocals and rich harmonies accompanied by 12-string guitar, banjo, mandolin, and percussion instruments. Celtic Conundrum’s music is influenced by rock, folk, Americana, and Celtic traditions. The individual band members each performed in diverse venues and music festivals and in various traditions before joining together to create their unique style of Celtic Americana music. •4:15 PM ~ Humans in Disguise Humans In Disguise is a Florida born rock band that has been making music together for the last decade. Their unique sound combines elements of rock, pop, and blues to create a sound that is all their own. They're passionate about their music and their fans, and they love nothing more than getting to play live shows and connecting with their audience through the awesome medium of music!
•5:30 PM ~ Uncle Bob's Rock Shop Classic Rock In Concert with Steve Reel, Mark Rewis, Bobby Dibble, David Sanders, Mack Sanders.
•6:45 PM ~ Gypsy Sparrow Singer-songwriter GYPSY SPARROW is the artist’s name of Mark Smythe, a singer/songwriter, born in New Orleans and hailing from several generations of professional musicians largely from Louisiana and Southern Mississippi. GYPSY SPARROW creates raw, soulful original music influenced primarily by deep familial roots but also by commercial artists like U2, Tracy Chapman and Ray LaMontagne. GYPSY SPARROW also covers a wide wingspan of well-known artists from Dave Matthews to Prince, Lady Gaga to Patsy Cline, Johnny Cash to Ed Sheeran & hundreds of others. Traveling regionally and locally, GYPSY SPARROW performs several nights a week throughout Central Florida MOTTO: “roam like a GYPSY; sing like a SPARROW.”
•8:00 PM ~ Noah Hunton Band "Music is how I express myself" Noah is a 26-years-old local from Ocala, Florida. He’s always dreamt of becoming a country star ever since he was little. He’s been singing and writing songs since as long as he can remember. Noah opened for some big named artists like Craig Campbell, Tristan Tritt, Dylan Scott, Cole Swindell, Hinder, Brandon Heath, and many more. He has developed his own brand and it’s been very successful! He has also developed a solid team to help support his career and is officially Noah Hunton Music LLC. He believes that to succeed; you always need to stay true to who you are. Surround yourself with real friends, people who will always uplift you, as well as tell you how it is. Also, to never give up on what you want to achieve. There is always hard times and good times, it’s just the way you look at things. Of course, being in the industry, you always have people that doubt your dreams. So, you must keep your head held high and keep moving forward. He wants to say to anyone chasing after a dream they may have. Don’t let people decide what you can and can’t do. It’s your life so make it the best that you can. You can find Noah on all music platforms. He is always writing new songs and putting out new music for his fans. This year Noah and his band are nominated for 3 awards (song of the year BARTENDER) (Modern Male country vocalist 2024) and (Rising Country Arist for 2024) At the Grand Ole Opry thanks to the Josie Music Awards!
